quimvaa's fanart she did for Book Two, which you can see here (the third picture in the post). Frank/Gerard, safe for work.
It is amazing! She has the coolest style ever! I CAN'T STOP STARING AT THEIR HANDS. Anyway, go check it out! Ahhh, seriously, I am so happy, fanart is so A+ awesome. ♥
(status update: last chapter is penciled but inking is taking forever. SOMEONE COME HELP ME INK. :|)

Of course, again, some take a lot less than that! Haha. It's mostly why the drawings have gotten a lot simpler on some of the pages, just to save time. And because I am lazy. /o\

I wish I could help, but alas, I have too much on my plate with university.

I love hearing what other artists use! I think it is very interesting. I use either Micron drawing pens or Prismacolor pigment pens (depending what I can actually find that still has ink in it) for the characters and speech bubbles, and Faber-Castell brush pens for coloring in their hair and any shadows or whatever, and for darkening the panel borders.
I like using traditional india ink on my own time, when I'm painting or drawing, or whatever, but I find it a little unwieldy for something like this, especially since I'm drawing on regular computer paper so I don't have a lot of room to work on the tiny details with something like a brush. And it also takes a much longer time to do, even though it's really fun.

I'm excited for future classes because we'll eventually move on to sumi/india ink. :D

I always forget how long it takes, especially since I have to ink every page about two to three times. But it's going! I am excited to post it and wrap everything up. :)
